Obituary of Deborah Marie Gullett

Deborah M. Gullett has peacefully passed away on December 22, 2022 following a brief illness. Deborah was born and lived her entire life in Monterey, Ca. After high school she dabbled in real estate before earning her doctorate degree in criminal law, in which she fulfilled her 32 year career as a district attorney with the MCDA's office. Deborah is loved by many close friends, but especially her immediate family. She is survived by her sister, Kathryn Gamez, Redding; niece, Jessica Penamante (Leo) Redding; niece, Justine Gamez (Edwin Kibby) Seaside and many great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who love her dearly. Deborah is preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gullett from Seaside and our dear Malaya Penamante from Salinas. Deborah's legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with. In keeping with Deborah's wishes and her private nature, services will be with immediate family only. Those wishing to honor her life can make a charitable contribution to any animal shelter of their choice to carry on her love and passion for animals.
