Robert D Swanigan was the eldest of 11 children. Born on April 27th the same day as his mother Grace R (Swanigan) Sellers. Although Robert left home at a young age, he did not forget his family. Robert helped his mother, and 9 of his siblings move from Indianapolis, Indiana to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1979 to ensure we had a better quality of life. Robert loved to sing and cook. Anyone that knew Robert knew he LOVED to play BINGO; Robert was the most kindhearted person anyone could meet. He would give the shirt off his back and his very last to help you. Robert has touched every heart he met. He will be sorely missed.

Robert D Swanigan was preceded in death by his mother Grace R Sellers, sister Mae Ivy, brothers Joseph Swanigan, Carl Swanigan and William Sellers. Robert departed this life on September 20, 2021, in Monterey, California.

Robert leaves to cherish his loving memories: Gregory Stansbury his loving Partner/Husband of over 28 years, 3 brothers Solomon Ford, Onan Ford & Michael Ford, 3 sisters Sara Thomas, Marie Beech & Yolanda Sellers, and a HUGE host of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and an even larger number of cousins and friends.
