Hey Steve, Hey Alain. Hey Beek, Hey Zeek. Hey Beeko, Hey Zeeko. Hey Wizard, Hey Dot. Hey Paul, Hey John. These are the many names Steve and I greeted each other with. We were individually 1 of 2. But when together, we were one. He was passionate. He was very intelligent. He also was a massive storage of information of areas he was interested in. No one I've ever met could come close to his knowledge of musical facts and detail. It was the same with sports. It was the same with movies. I can remember all the movies I've seen. Steven could tell you who stared in the movies, who directed the movie and so on. A great mind. He was possessed with great insight into the hearts of and minds of others. That shined through in his poetry and song writing. In the last six months of his life, he began sharing music that he had wrote and recorded, posting it online. I was blown away by how awesome it was. I still have two songs in my inbox that I haven't listened to and reviewed for him. One is his tribute to Little Richard. RIP. Maybe its away to hold onto him. He was gone to soon.
Steven introduced me to LED ZEPPELIN. I introduced him to Black Sabbath. He would become my Concert Buddy. We saw both bands live together along with 100s of other bands. For three years we would drive down the coast road beyond Carmel 6 nights a week. Between High School, through out my years at the comic shop, my years at the Beach Hotel, I have memories that make up who I am. That make up the story of my life. Steven Calderon is a part of almost all of those memories.
He is a big part of my life. BEEKO, A great man, A good son, A deep heart. Miss him dearly. Love him more. Yours always, Zeeko

Beeko,Its hard to believe you are gone.So many memories that will stay with me for the rest of my life.I spent more time at your house than I did mine. The hours we spent listening to some new album you found that nobody else even new about. Playing the Boxing and Golf game the you invented for me and you to enjoy together. And when we got tired of being inside we would go out and run plays in the street with the Nerf football. I feel like I grew up in your house and your parents treated me like a second son! Wish I could have flew back one more time to see you and talk about the good old times we had together because there were so many! You will always be my best friend and hang out buddie. Love you like a brother! RIP, Darin Darnell or Debone to you Beeko
