Obituary of Leroy Arthur Newton

This was A GREAT MAN, I can't even begin to fathom the history he has seen in his lifetime. Born in 1926, the tragedy, the heartache the triumphs and the joy. Raising 10 kids, watching your legacy grow with dozens upon dozens of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He has always worked hard and loved his family. What a life to be proud of. At 94 I had no idea how much time he had left on this earth but we were lucky enough to visit him on a good night the other day. He was able to crack a few jokes and I got to hear him say "goodnight and I love you" to his wife who misses him dearly on the phone. THIS is what a life well lived looks like, this is what is important. Faith, family, love, perseverance and integrity. I can only pray in my old age, at the end of my life, to be able to look back as he can and be proud. He was A GREAT MAN. We love you grandpa!
