Obituary of Geraldine M. Armstrong

Geri entered into rest April 3, 2015 at the age of 86. A resident of the Monterey Peninsula since 1956, Geri was born in Arthur City, TX. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington H.S. Hugo, OK; Langston Univ., Langston, OK (BS, Commercial Ed.); & Chapman College (MA, Ed., Career Counseling). She was a devoted member of Friendship Baptist Church. Geri was also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Seaside Business & Professional Women's Club, NAACP, Citizen's League for Progress, & Seaside Cultural Arts Group. She was preceded in death by her son Mark Anthony Armstrong, husband Morris Armstrong, Sr. & brother Cedric Dean Foster. She is survived by sons, Gerald Armstrong & Morris Armstrong, Jr.; three grandchildren, Medea Wilson (Will), Elaine Armstrong, & Aaron Udarbe; three great grandchildren, Ajanae Johnson, & Noah & Micah Wilson. Visitation will be held on Apr. 17 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Seaside Funeral Home, 1915 Ord Grove Ave., Seaside. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Apr. 18 at Friendship Baptist Church, 1440 Broadway Ave., Seaside.
