Obituary of Antonio Zacarias

Antonio "Tony" Salamat Zacarias, born May 4, 1949 in Manila, Phillipines, has left us to be with our lord on November 15, 2010. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Karen, 2 daughters (Kristi & Andrea Zacarias), and 5 grandchildren, Kaylin, R.J., Nathan, Mia and Jordyn. Also, he is survived by 8 brothers, and several neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Nick and Aida Zacarias as well as his brother Ray. Tony was a very proud father and grandfather. He adored spending time with his family and grandchildren. During his earlier years, he enjoyed playing music and singing along with the members/best friends of the band "Image" and hanging out with his friends. In his spare time, Tony enjoyed watching football, basketball and baseball. His favorite teams to watch were the 49ers, Lakers and Giants. Tony was employed with the Hyatt Regency of Monterey for 17 years. He also worked at the Outrigger and the Blue Ox. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Mission Memorial Park, 1915 Ord Grove Avenue, Seaside, CA on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2:00pm. A reception to follow at the Zacarias' residence, address and directions will be given at the service. Memorial contributions are greatly appreciated and can be forwarded to his daughters, Kristi & Andrea Zacarias.
