Obituary of Olga Christensen

On Sunday, November 28 at 9:30 am Olga Lee Christensen died at Monterey Community Hospital. She has 4 children; Arville Melton, Billie Marcuson, Mary Hoffmann, and William Washburn; 7 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She was a devoted resident of Carmel since the 1960's having purchased her home in 1968. She was a CNA running an in home health care from her home for twenty years. She was a sweet, kind, giving and loving grandmother, neighbor and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her and we have all learned something and gained something by knowing her. She will forever be in our hearts. Our family like any other family has had many hard times and many good times and as in many famillies we all have let the hard times get the best of us. we forgot what family was all about and since grandmas passing she has opened our eyes and hearts as to many things we have forgotten. She has taught us so much over the years and we were closed to it all. We are gonna miss her so much she will live on in all of her kids and grandchildren for many generations...... The services will be held at Seaside Memorial on Monday December 6. Viewing will be held from 10 am- 1 pm and the funeral will begin at 1 pm.
