Obituary of Carmen L.G. Carbon

Carmen L.G. Carbon passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on March 13th at the age of 85. Carmen was born in Agana, Guam to Maria & Joaquin Leon Guerrero. She met and married Carlos Carbon and they shared 52 years of marriage before his passing in 2003. As a loving and dedicated Military housewife and mother, she lived an adventurous military life while living in Germany, Missouri, Colorado, Texas, Massachusetts, Nebraska, and finally Marina, CA where they retired in 1983. Carmen was always a happy person. She loved to sing and listen to music. She enjoyed bowling, painting, playing bingo, and taking trips to the casinos. She was also a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos, but she leaves behind to cherish her memory their children, Crispina Perry, Charles Carbon, and Cynthia Carbon-Norman (Alfred Norman). She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th from 11 am until 1pm at which time her Funeral Service will begin. Services will be at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel, 1915 Ord Grove Ave. in Seaside. Donations may be made in her name to VNA Adult Day Program, 800 Cass St., Monterey, Ca 93940; a place where Carmen loved to go and where she was treated with love and respect for which her family is eternally grateful.
