Obituary of Anna M. Thompson

Anna M. Thompson, 81, passed peacefully in her sleep on January 28, 2015 surrounded by friends and family. Born in 1933, Anna was raised in Germany and later married Walter (Tom) Thompson, a United States Serviceman. The couple moved to Seaside, California, where they built a home and raised their four children: Pia, David, Dirk, and Anthony. Anna attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, where she was known for her dedicated service, her love for her brothers and sisters, and her generosity and joy. Anna gave relentlessly and loved abundantly. She was a gentle and humble servant, a loving and dedicated wife and mother, and a loyal friend. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, four children, eight grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Though Anna has passed from this life, her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all those that have been touched by her. Memorial gifts may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 523 Ramona Ave, Monterey, CA 93940. The Mission Memorial Park & Seaside Funeral home has been entrusted with arrangements. Services will be held On Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 523 Ramona Ave, Monterey, CA 93940.
