Obituary of James Delano Phillips

SEASIDE JAMES D. PHILLIPS, 83, of Seaside passed away on May 26th at the V. A. Hospital in Palo Alto. He was born on February 19, 1928 to Floyd and Sophie (Love) Phillips in Crockett Texas. He retired from the U. S. Army after 22 years of service. James is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Lemoyne (Love) Phillips, three children, Sophie Phillips, Llewelyn Phillips and Ronald Phillips, and numerous grandchildren. Funeral services with Military Honors will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, June 3rd in the Chapel of Seaside Funeral Home, 1915 Ord Grove Avenue, Seaside, CA.
