Obituary of Kelly Herauf

Kelly Patrick Herauf, 62, of San Francisco, CA, passed away peacefully, Friday, October 27, 2017 at his home. Kelly is survived by his wife Dhezrae of 31 years, daughter Amy Herauf, son Kristopher Herauf, mother Eileen Bell, brothers John Herauf and Michael Herauf, and sister Billie Jean McGill. He also leaves behind an extended family of friends who loving know him as "Uncle Kelly." Kelly loved entertaining family and friends with his unique sense of humor. One would be hard press not to laugh at one of his jokes, even the terrible ones. He was a kind, loving and gentle man who was always there to lend a helping hand. Helping people was the foundation of his 22 year career as a Registered Nurse at Kaiser Santa Clara. Kelly also had a great interest in emerging technology and spent 5 years working at Intel at their onsite medical facility. Retiring in the year 2000, Kelly and his family found their way to Oahu, Hi. Kelly considered Oahu to be home and lived the Aloha spirit to the fullest. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the Seaside Funeral Home on Friday, November 3rd. Funeral Services for Kelly will be at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Seaside, CA on Saturday, November 4th at 12pm to 1:00pm. Kelly will be laid to rest at Mission Memorial Park in Seaside, CA on Saturday, November 4th at 1:30pm.
