Higino ?Gino? Gatdula January 11, 1921~December 31, 2010 Monterey Peninsula- Higino Llaguno Gatdula passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 31, 2010 at the age 89. He was born on January 11, 1921 in Makati, Rizal, Philippines to Gonzalo and Rufina Gatdula. Gino lead a full life and was devoted to God and his family. He graduated from Feati University in the Philippines where he received a degree and ranked top 10 in Electrical Engineering. Gino was a Veteran in the Philippine Army during WWII. His passions were playing chess, horseracing, basketball, and carpentry. His remaining years were spent enjoying life with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Lolita of 54 years, 2 sons, Edwin of Monterey, CA; Eduardo (Marcella) of Pacific Grove, CA; and 2 grandchildren Jarred and Lynnea of Pacific Grove, CA. Two sisters Juanita Lugtu of Seattle, WA and Ezperanza Magno of Seaside, CA and one brother Jose Gatdula of Marina, CA. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. followed by the Rosary Service on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Mission Memorial Park Chapel in Seaside, Ca and then Mass at 1:00 p.m Friday, January 7, 2011 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Seaside, Ca.
