Obituary of Robert Harvey Dreier

Robert Dreier passed away on December 27, 2014 at the age of 75. He was born in New Jersey and loved the beaches and warm ocean water there. He was an avid scuba diver who loved to catch lobster on the east coast and abalone along the California coast. He was president of the San Jose Scuba Club that he belonged to. Bob served in the U.S. Navy with the Atomic Submarine Division. After graduating from Purdue University in Electrical Engineering, his career brought him to California where he worked at Advanced Micro Devices, Honeywell and Intel. He was a lover of the great outdoors, especially the ocean, which is why he and his wife chose to retire in Pacific Grove. He is survived by his wife, Janet Dreier; his son, Scott Dreier (Betsy) and their children, Nicholas and Otto, and his daughter Kimberly. A gathering of family and friends is planned and will be announced at a later date.
