Obituary of Lena Campo

Lena passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children and husband. She was the youngest of 5 children to Frank and Lena Tardio, a local fishing industry family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joe and Buster Tardio; sister, Jenny Conte; son-in-law, Bradley Jones. She is survived by her husband Danny; son, Dino Campo (Margaret); daughter, Anna Jones; sister, Mary Wilson; sister-in-law, Mary Tardio and numerous nieces and nephews. Lena was known for her loving and generous nature, her incredible inner strength, faith and devotion to her family. Lena and Danny celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on November 10th. She is already greatly missed. A visitation will be Monday, December 1st from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Mortuary, 450 Camino El Estero, Monterey. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at the Santa Rosalia Chapel at San Carlos Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made in Lena's name to: Peace of Mind Dog Rescue, P.O.
