Obituary of Mary L. Aliotti

Mary L. Aliotti, age 91, was called home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2013, joining her husband of 63 years, Nicola, her parents Nick and Pietrina, brothers John, Joe, Jake, Casper, Tom, and Ross, and sisters Josephine and Catherine. Mary was born in Cudahay, Wisconsin, on March 7, 1922, and moved with her family to Monterey in 1937, where she established her lifelong residence on the Peninsula. She was known to many in the area as the proprietress of Mary's Tea Room, and will be remembered by all for her love of family and friends, her sense of humor, and her generosity. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Pauline Aliotti of Monterey and Pietrina Moscuzza (Eugene) of Yuba City, and her son John (Melissa) of Sacramento, her cherished five grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and her many beloved nieces and nephews. The family plans a private viewing and burial, and thanks their many friends and family members for their love and prayers.
