Obituary of Marilyn Jean Bridgwood

Marilyn Jean Bridgwood passed away on August 21, 2013. She was born in Brockton, Massachusetts to Charles and Marion Bridgwood on July 30, 1929. She graduated from Boston University and started working as a civil servant for the US Government which brought her to Ford Ord, CA. She was a resident of Carmel. She enjoyed traveling, animals, opera, music and living in Carmel. She was a longtime member of the Monterey Aquarium. After retiring she was a travel agent, and volunteered with the Red Cross. She enjoyed her crossword puzzles on Sunday. Marilyn will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A memorial fund for Marilyn Bridgwood has been established for donations to the Monterey Aquarium. Marilyn's memorial service will be Thursday, September 12 at 11am at Mission Mortuary, 450 Camino El Estero, Monterey, CA
