My life is richer knowing Phi Ho, whom I had the pleasure of knowing and caring for as my patient. He was a true renaissance man, who was both an engineer and an artist, passionate about doing good in the world and endlessly curious about different cultures and their people. He touched people wherever he went. After college, he volunteered for the Peace Corps in Kenya in the early 1970s and left his estate to form a scholarship at MPC (Monterey Peninsula College) upon his passing. I love that he left a legacy to continue his curiosity about knowledge and education, as that so reminds me of him. He was a gentle and generous soul. I will miss him. Dr Susan Kubica
