Family, Goodbye to my beloved first cousin, Huey, from his little cousin, “Bucky”, who looked up to him since I was a young boy. I have fond memories of us growing up together in Monroe, with him as a role model of a brother that I did not have. Over the years, we kept in touch, and I followed his journey, as he went from ship-to-shore in a military career that any person would be proud of. Following his example, I even entered the military (USAF) myself. Even now, I can hear him chuckling about how "his 49ers will beat my Bears." I will miss him greatly, and I will always remember him as a cousin and a true friend. Song, Vaughn & Vernon, please know that my heart is with you. Leonard "Bucky" Robinson

Our Calhoun Famoly circle has once again been broken, but the passing of Huey gives us an opportunity to celebrate a life well lived and a person much loved . Though time and distance has been a separator in our ability to meet face to face, these have not destroyed our memories of the days when we could just walk a few blocks up or down Atkinson Street and write family events upon the tablets of our hearts. To Song , Vaughn and Vernon, please know that the spot left in the family circle by Huey's transition is filled because of your presence. Please know that we care and you are not on their journey alone.
