Obituary of Aaron Bibbens, Jr.

Aaron Bibbens Jr. was born in Rayville, LA to Aaron Bibbens Sr. and Maudedell Crease Bibbens.

Aaron accepted the Lord at a yound age and was baptized at the Macedonia Baptist Church by the Pastor, Reverend James Cooper.

Aaron, affectionately known as "LaLa" to family and friends, attended Rayville Rosenwall Elementary School and was a graduate of Eula D. Britton High School in the Class of 1952. After graduation Aaron moved to California with his sister, Annie Bibbens Robinson and his brother-in-law, Eddie Robinson.

Aaron worked as a sanitation worker for the Monterey/Carmel Disposal Company for many years. After leaving the Sanitation Company, Aaron started working in the Security Department of McGraw Hill and worked there until his retirement in 2008.

Aaron loved to fish, play dominoes, pinochle, watch wrestling, basketball, and westerns on TV. Aaron was a very loving and caring person who would do anything for his family and friends. He had a smile that would warm anyone's heart.

Aaron was proceeded in death by his parents, Aaron Bibbens Sr. and Maudedell Crease Bibbens; two sisters, Rosie Lee Rivers and Annie Lee Robinson; and one brother, Charles Bibbens Sr.

Aaron leaves to cherish his precious memory, a son, Aaron (Rosalind) Bibbens III, a grandson, Aaron Bibbens IV, a beloved brother-in-law, Eddie Robinson, a host of nieces, nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews, three special friends, Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Sledge, Ms. Dorothy Bonds, and numerous other friends.
