Funeral services for Gavina Hernandez Ponce, of Seaside, will be held at Mission mortuary at 1 pm, Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Pastor Manuel Abrego will officiate. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm-4:00 pm at Mission Mortuary, 450 Camino El Estero, Monterey, CA 93940. Memorials may be made to Centro Aviva Church of Castroville, Ca. Gabby Hernandez Ponce passed away on October 4, 2022. Born in Veracruz, Mexico, she was a daughter of the, Santiago Hernandez-Ortiz and Raquel Ponce Poxtan. She was a member of Centro Aviva Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who enjoyed fine cuisine, hiking, had a love for children and family. She made long-lasting friendships that will carry on her memory. She valued life, nature, but most of all she valued family. Surviving are Father Santiago Hernandez-Ortiz and Raquel Ponce Poxtan, sisters: Leo, Sonia, Ulda, Joky, and brothers Isaias, Alberto, and Abner Hernandez.
