On Monday, August 29, 2022, George Ronald Cassidy Jr., loving Son, brother and father of four children, passed away at age 62.
George was born on January 11, 1960 in Wailuku, Maui to George and Maryann Cassidy and moved to Marina, California at the age of 3. Throughout his time on the Monterey Peninsula, he’s made a life here with family and friends. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in in-formation technology and worked at Community Hospital as a Network Admin for 30+ years. With Corazon Alejo, they raised 3 sons, MC, Michael, and Georgie, and one daughter, Michelle.
George is a loyal fan of the NFL Rams. He had a love for the game of golf and softball. He was an avid music lover and taught himself how to play on guitar and ukulele. And he enjoyed playing video games with his kids. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind Hawaiian spirit.
George was preceded in death by his father, George Se-nior. He is survived by his four children, MC, Michelle, Michael and Georgie, his mother Maryann, his sisters Daryl and Linda, and several cousins, nieces, nephews and his granddaughter Keira Mahina. 
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9th, 2022 at Mission Mortuary on 450 Camino El Estero in Monterey at 1 o’clock p.m. Flowers or donations may be sent to 3357 Drew St. Marina, Ca. 93933
