Obituary of Consuelo Lacuata Mendoza

Consuelo Mendoza who was called “Mommy” by her kids departed this world at the age of 85. She was born in the Philippines to Francisco & Celestina Lacuata. She was the eldest of 7 children, Vic Lacuata, Reggie Lacuata, Fred Lacuata, Roger Lacuata, Clarita Usog and her late sister Elvita Espiritu.

She was married to her late husband Alipio Mendoza and had 5 children, Jeannette (Marc) Dranchak, of Seaside, CA, James (Sandy) Mendoza of Calabash, NC, Wendell (Antonette) Mendoza of Irvine, CA, Steven (Katia) Mendoza of Burlingame, CA and Ramilo Mendoza along with 4 grandchildren, Marc Dranchak, Jocelyn Choronzy, Sabrina Mendoza, Alyssa Waskosky and 5 great-grandchildren, Scott & Benjamin Choronzy, Presley & Winstyn Dranchak, and Olivia Waskosky.

Her personality was quiet and reserved, yet independent, strong, kind- hearted and loved by all. Multiple jobs kept her busy during her 55 years residing in the Monterey County with Mission Linen being the longest of her employers. She did find time to enjoy life especially her love of Walmart, bingo, bus trips to the casino and some travel.

Loving thoughts of her will forever be in our hearts and we will miss her dearly.  God Bless and May you Rest In Peace Mommy.
