Obituary of Linda June Calderone

On April 17, 2022, Linda June Calderone who was a long time resident on the Monterey Peninsula passed away unexpectedly in Modesto, California. Linda was born in Heidelberg, Germany on October 10, 1961. Growing up in a military family, she lived in many places including Europe, Japan, and Hawaii which sparked her love of travel. She enjoyed traveling by motorcycle and trains as well as accompanying her boy friend Mark Regazzi in his work traveling across the country. Linda dedicated her professional life to Safeway where she worked as a cashier in Monterey for many years. Linda had a soft spot for animals and rescued orphaned blind dogs and raised her cats with love. She had an eye for creativity and enjoyed decorating her home. At the time of Linda's passing, she was survived by her mother, Hiroko Calderone who passed away on May 13, 2022. She is survived by her sisters Ruth Hudock, Mary Rigmaiden (David), and nephews Daniel and Sean Rigmaiden. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
