Obituary of Jason Paul Kakimoto

Jason P. Kakimoto passed away at the age of 42 on May 31, 2022 after a 2 year battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his mother Carol Brown.

 

He is survived by his parents Paul and Nonette Kakimoto, sister Monique Kakimoto, brother Donnie (Becky) Jenkins, 2 great aunts, an uncle, 2 aunts and their spouses, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and his dog Panda.

 

Jason was born in Las Vegas grew up in Monterey. He attended Sacramento City College. He worked at various restaurants throughout the Monterey Peninsula. A new career change lead him to become an Investment Advisor at ML Stern then an Independent Advisor for Hilltop Securities.

 

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #217. He also was an avid golfer and enjoyed his trips to Las Vegas.

 

Services will be held Friday, June 17, 2022at 10:00 am at Mission Mortuary , 450 Camino El Estero, Monterey Ca, 93940. Interment will follow at the Monterey City Cemetery, 798 Fremont Street, Monterey Ca 93940. A celebration of Life will take place at Masonic Lodge #217, 525 Pacific Street, Monterey Ca 93940 immediately after the service.
