Linda Elise Tatum Rouse

Linda Elise Rouse, 73, known by many as
Tatum, passed away on March 21, 2022. She
was born in Phoenix, AZ on August 18, 1948,
and moved to the Monterey area in 1964,
starting her long time career in the restaurant

witty girl who made everyone laugh. She is
survived by her father, Clifford Jones Loudon,
Jr.; brother Clifford Jones Loudon III; three
sisters, Carol Gibbons, Florence K. Loudon
and Penny Wilens; and two daughters, Tanya
Cummins and Denise Tomlinson. Tatum is also

great-grandchildren, Kaydence and Kenzie.
Tatum loved gardening, cats, taking long walks
especially along San Carlos Beach and playing
Yahtzee with her best friend forever, Anna.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10 to 11
a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at the Sand
Bar & Grill Restaurant — on the Commercial
Wharf, where Tatum worked and managed for
over 20 years. She will be laid to rest next to
her husband, Roger Rouse, at the California
Central Coast Veterans Cemetery in Seaside.
