Obituary of Bernabe Soriano Erguiza

Bernabe Erguiza, fondly called Ábe’, was a caring husband, a loving father, a sweet grandfather, a true brother, and a loyal friend. Abe’s love of life didn’t come to an end with his death. Abe passed away on the morning of November 4, 2021 at age 77 after a courageous battle with cancer; surrounded physically and virtually by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Abe. He loved quiet evenings with his family watching his favorite TV programs or cheering his favorite NBA Team, the Golden State Warriors. He loved to get in touch with friends and family alike, making them laugh with his witty humors and endless jokes. He had an uncanny ability to find happiness and joy in his daily activities. His very pleasant, bubbly, and positive personality was contagious to everyone he met.

Abe did not let his ailment slow him down. He maintained a positive attitude throughout his illness and showed more concern for his wife and children than for himself. Abe is survived by his very loving wife, Seding, and his children Sonny, Cathy, and Randy, his daughter in law Kitkat, and his pretty granddaughters, Ingrid and Sofia.

A funeral service and viewing will be scheduled from 2-5 PM on November 18, 2021 at Mission Mortuary located at 450 Camino El Estero Monterey Ca 93940
