Obituary of Margery Ruth McMenamin

Margery, 100, was born in San Francisco & lived most of her life in Monterey. She was married to Emmet, the love of her life, for 65 years before his passing in 2011. They had 9 children: Elizabeth Mitchell (deceased), Timothy (deceased), Marilyn (Ron) Morrell, Patricia (Jim) McEllis, Eileen, Joan, Paula, Daniel (deceased) & Gerald; 8 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren.

Margery was a devout Catholic, a YLI member and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church & San Carlos Cathedral. She volunteered at St. Francis for years counting the church collection. She was an avid reader & enjoyed lunches with friends from church for many years.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 9:30am at San Carlos Cathedral in Monterey.
