Obituary of John J. DiMaggio

MONTEREY-John J DiMaggio, 93, passed away on Wednesday December 2nd at Carmel Hills Care Facility.

John was born in Monterey to loving parents Rose and Joe DiMaggio on October 15th, 1927. he attended Monterey High School. John fish for sardines with his father in his early years. John served in the Army during the Korean War.

John had his own Business Juniper Gardening Service.

John had a passion for sports and was an avid fan of the local sports teams. John also loved Jazz and was a regular at the Monterey Jazz festival and spent many a time in the San Francisco Bay Area, taking in the arts

John is survived by his brother Joe and numerous nieces and nephews.
