Obituary of Julia Natale

Julia Natale

January 31, 1967 - November 1, 2020

Julia Natale was born in Monterey, California and graduated from Monterey High School in 1985. Julia worked at Natale’s Auto Service Center in Monterey, California for 22 years, running her family’s automobile service center with her mother Marie, her father Papa Joe, and her brother Joe Jr. Julia gave birth to her only daughter, Jessica Natale (22), in 1998 who is now a senior at the University of Hawaii, Manoa majoring in biology and in pursuit of becoming a physician. In her free time, Julia loved going to the lake, baking sweets and pastries, spending time with family and friends, dancing, or giving back to those in need. Whether she gave clothes and coats to families during the winter, allowed friends and family to live with her for an indefinite amount of time, or cooked food for the hungry, Julia took care of others before herself. Her character was defined by her selflessness, her work ethic, her love for others, her caring nature, her sense of humor, and her perseverance. Julia epitomized the idea of never giving up, an example being her victory over cancer (Non-Hodgkin lymphoma) in 2005. Julia is survived by Marie and Joe Natale (parents), Jessica Natale (daughter), Joe Jr. Natale (brother), Tom Natale (brother), and nieces and nephews (Joey Natale, Lauren Natale, Jonny Natale, Jay Natale, and Jasmin Natale). Memorial services will commence at Mission Mortuary at 1:00 PM on November 21, 2020 -social distancing and masks are required to attend. Immediately after the service, everyone is invited to go to San Carlos Cemetery in Monterey, California for a blessing at her resting place.
