Obituary of Rosario Santos Antonio

On Sunday, October 18, 2020, Rosario Santos Antonio, loving wife, and mother, passed away at 68 years old at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. Rosario was born on October 10, 1952 in Isabela, Philippines. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1973 and inspired students for 10 years. She then migrated to America, where she worked at Naval Postgraduate School, and later a certified nursing assistant for many years.

Rosario (Nenette) was a kind, friendly and humble person. She always had positive things to say and made you feel important. She always had a funny story or a meaningful lesson to share. She loved to take pictures especially with her family and of her garden at home.

She is survived by Benito, her loving husband of 32 years and her only son, who was the pride and joy of her life, Robinson; her siblings: Francisco, Aurora, Magdalena, Venancio Jr., Nazarius and Martina;her brother and sister-in-laws and her many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She joins her mother and father, Apolonia and Venancio Santos, and her brothers, Nicanor and Constantino, in heaven.

Visitation will take place at Mission Mortuary and Memorial Park, 1915 Ord Grove Avenue, Seaside, CA on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 12 o’clock noon to 5 o’clock in the evening. Final resting place will be at the Mission Memorial Park in Seaside.
