Obituary of Leo Arthur Girouard Jr.

Leo Arthur Girouard Jr. passed away September 03, 2020 in Monterey at Cypress Ridge Care Center. He was born May 31, 1955 in Fort Ord to Leo A Girouard Sr. and Alice Cannon Girouard. Leo was a young man of 39 when he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. He had lived with his father in the family home in Seaside for the ten years prior to the passing of his father in 2018.

Leo was a life-long resident of the Monterey area. He was a 1973 graduate of Monterey High School and a fan of many sports, his favorite teams were the Boston Red Sox and Washington Redskins.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents. He was the beloved brother of Patricia Girouard, Susan Karlotski and Alice Trentelman. Leo is lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and cousins. He also leaves his aunt Theresa Grimes of Massachusetts.

 A donation in Leo's memory would be greatly appreciated by Central Coast Quality of Life Programs at 519 B Hartnell Street, Monterey Ca 93940. This local non-profit serves people living with MS and Parkinsons. At Leo's request, no services will be held.
