Obituary of Masa Gould

“With broken hearts and hurt souls, we are sadden to announce the death of Masa Gould. Masa peacefully passed away in the early hours of August 25, 2020 at the age of 92. Born on November 3, 1927 in Sendai, Japan she had been a long time resident of the Monterey Peninsula, the past 46 years.

Over the course of 72 years she has gained many aliases and exceptionally filled the roles of wife, mother, grandma, and GG (great grandma). Masa was a woman made of great courage and will, she seemed invincible until the day she was not. A woman with a hardened soul and a loving heart she will forever be missed by her loved ones.

Masa is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gould, and son, Norman Gould. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Yamada, her grandson's, Jesse Hobson and Brandon Yamada. Her memories will forever fill our hearts and those of her extended family Roy, Rachel, Leia and Jameson.”
