Obituary of Margarito V. Dela Victoria

Margarito V. dela Victoria, age 82, passed away peacefully at his home in Seaside, CA on January 20th, 2020.  He was born February 22, 1937 in Minglanilla, Cebu, Philippines to Augustin and Enoria dela Victoria.  He is survived by his wife Annabelle dela Victoria of 54 years and their children; Arthur (Maria), Efren (Maidy), Ann, Jessa (Mark), Marivel (Kyle), and Marie (Adam); sixteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.  His surviving siblings are Norma, Mary, Landring and Rogelio.  Margarito retired from Public Works and Highways in the Philippines after 17 years and later from the Monterey Hyatt after 22 years.  He enjoyed dancing, singing, fishing, playing various musical instruments, gardening, riding his bike, and spending time with his family.  He loved to share his stories growing up in the Philippines and his philosophies of life.  Family, friends and others whose lives Margarito touched are invited to the viewing on Thursday, January 30th between 4-8 PM at MISSION MORTUARY in Seaside, CA.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 31st at 10 AM at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CHURCH in Seaside, CA 93955.
