Clarence Kilwein

Obituary of Clarence John Kilwein

Clarence J. Kilwein (11/7/1929-8/11/2019)

Our beloved Papa left an everlasting legacy of love and family devotion on this earth. Born in North Dakota he and his family moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 1959.

Clarence was a US Army Korean War Era Veteran.  His professional career was that of a Business Owner and Master Printer at Printing Inc, Seaside, CA for over 50 years. “Clancy” was an active member of the Seaside Rotary Club and a former Grand Knight, Knights of Columbus at Saint Angela’s Catholic Church, Pacific Grove, CA.  His hobbies included fishing and following his favorite Bay Area sports teams. He especially loved the Golden State Warriors and never missed watching a game.

Clarence was a devoted family man often enjoying meals with his daughters, granddaughters, and great grandchildren. Papa was always the center of attention at any family gathering.  Clarence was preceded in death by his son Joseph Kilwein and his wife of 56 years, Rose Kilwein. He is survived by his daughters, Toni Jacobsen (Vic) and Tracy Calhoun (Mike), four granddaughters and three great grandchildren.

The family will hold a private service at a future date.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to VNA Hospice Care in his name.
