Obituary of John L. Crisan

John Livius Crisan was born in Transylvania Romania and spent his early years  in Sibiu and the Carpathian Mountains.
He and his family escaped the Communist takeover after WWII and ended up in Ohio.
John met Jean, married and had 3 girls.
A son was added after the move to California. 
John went to work for the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department where he became one of the founding members of the “Rescue Team”.
John was a talented artist who worked in watercolor. He loved to swim, sail, hike, and meet strangers “who always had their story”.
John was the last of his generation. The world is a sadder place for everyone who knew and loved him.
