Obituary of Melvin C. Williams

Melvin Clifton. 84, left us on June 27, 2018 with family at his side at Cypress Ridge Care Facility.

Melvin was born October 31, 1933, in Dallas to Ernest and Juanita Williams. He came to Seaside, California after serving his country, stationed at the U.S. Army Base at Fort Ord, CA.. He graduated Hartnell College, receiving an Associates Degree in Auto Mechanic’s. Melvin was self-employed owning Mel’s Auto Repair for over 38 years.

Mr. Williams was widowed, losing his wife, Crystal Amber Wright- Williams in 2003 and two children; Melvin Jr 1970 and Melanie Renee Williams in 2001. Melvin is survived by loving family still in Dallas, along with 4 daughters, 18 grandchildren, and 4 great- grandchildren. Melvin spent his recent few years in the company of his younger daughters and their families battling advanced prostate cancer. His great- granddaughter, a CNA of the care facility, notified family of his passing.

He will truly be missed. His vicarious smile lifted many spirits in their time of need.
