Obituary of Talmadge Louis Williams

Talmadge Louis Williams III passed away on December 2nd due to complications of Diabetes. He was 66 years old. Talmadge was born on September 28, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA to Talmadge Lewis Williams, Jr. and Billie Faye Edwards. He was raised in Seaside, CA and was part of the first graduating class from Seaside High School although he also attended Monterey High. Talmadge lived for some time in Virginia and Texas, but has been in California for the past 55 years. Talmadge was the manager of a liquor store for 30 years. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He loved sports and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Talmadge is survived by his wife of 27 years, Joyce E. Newsome; his children, Stacey Anthony, Harold Williams, Deborah Breazell, Shaunnell Splane, Vonda Harris, Kelly Hunter, and Tojuana Newsome; his sister, Rosslyn Stenson and brothers, Jesse Edwards Jr. and John Edwards; 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 5 brother-in-laws, 1 sister-in-law, 8 nieces, 14 nephews, 1 aunt, and many friends and associates. He was preceded in death by his parents.
