Obituary of David Earl Mase

David Earl Mase SEASIDE - David Earl Mase, 84, passed away peacefully after a brief illness, on August 27, 2013. He was born September 16, 1928 in Sacramento, CA to David and Dorothy Mase. In 1953, David married Marilyn Nyman and settled in Seaside to raise their family. He worked for Pacific Bell / SBC until 1985. David was preceded in death by his daughter Nancy, and son Gregory. David is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn, his daughter Susan Gong (Willy) of Salinas, his son Stephen Mase of Pleasant Hill, CA, his grandchildren Megan Frye (Gilbert) of Newark CA, Jennifer Mase of Salinas, Michael Bruegl of Salinas, his great-granddaughter Jasmine Mase of Salinas, and his unborn great-granddaughter Abigail Frye. "Poppa" will be missed during all birthdays and holiday celebrations by the family. At his request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of the Central Coast (CHOMP).
