Obituary of Robert J. Tuscany

Robert (Bob) Joseph Tuscany of Monterey, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2017, surrounded by family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. Born July 4, 1939, to Floyd and Helen Tuscany in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He was one of five brothers. He joined the Navy in 1957. After the Navy his travels brought them to the Monterey Peninsula where he met and married the love of his life Jocelyn. He was a tour bus driver for Royal Tours then went on to become a school bus driver/trainer for the Carmel Unified School District. He loved camping at Lake McClure with family and friends and celebrating his birthday every 4th of July. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and was in many tournaments. Also, RC cars and flying his plane with the Salinas Area Modelers. He loved hearing or telling a great joke. You could always find him with his pool friends early in the morning at the Monterey Sports Center and riding his Segway all around Monterey. Around the holidays he was known as "Segway Santa". He enjoyed giving his time to work at many senior care facilities. Robert is survived by: his wife, Jocelyn; brothers Floyd (deceased), Dick, Larry, Ron; sons, Tim Tuscany (Barbara), Rick Tuscany (Cameron), Bob Tuscany; Stepchildren, Kim Aday (Steve), Lisa Mellow (Sam), Scott Gisse (Angeles); Grandchildren, Brittney Mellow, Brandi Mellow, Kody Tuscany (Lexie), Alyssa Duckworth, Tyler Aday, Massimo Tuscany, Oliver Tuscany, Julia Duckworth, Hunter Duckworth, Bella Duckworth; Great grandchild, Kingsley Tuscany. A celebration of Roberts life will be held at a later date.
