Obituary of Jeremiah J. Cole

Jeremiah Jerry Cole passed away December 3, 2013. He was 81. Jerry was born on September 17, 1932 to Morris and Josephine in Alexandria, Louisiana. He attended both San Jose State University and Monterey Peninsula College. Jerry was retired from the U.S. Army Airborne and was a veteran of the Korean War. After his Military Career Jerry worked as a deputy for the Monterey County Sheriff's Dept. He was also an usher at Fort Ord Community Chapel. Jerry is survived by his wife of 31 years, Soon Ie Cole; and his sons, Jerry Cole Jr. and Dana Cole. A visitation will take place for Jerry on Thursday, Dec. 5th from 12 noon until 8 pm at Mission Memorial Park and Seaside Funeral Home, 1915 Ord Grove Ave. in Seaside. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Dec. 6th at 11 am at Fort Ord Community Chapel, 4280 General Jim Moore Blvd. in Seaside.
