Obituary of Dominador O. Elias

Dominador (Ador) Elias, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully on February 12, 2019.  He was surrounded by his loved ones during his final days.

Ador was born in Calungbuyan, Balaoan La Union, Philippines.  He emmigrated to California in 1984 to join his wife. His love and passion for cooking led him into the culinary industry for thirty (30) years.  Throughout the years he met many people and with his friendly and charismatic personality and great cooking he built lifelong friendships and made lasting memories.  He had a witty sense of humor and always made a person smile.  He was a man with words of wisdom who had a witty personality.

He is survived by his wife Sally of 46 years; daughters Evangeline and Emieline; sons Jojo (Susan) and Jeff (Jennifer); grandchildren Jennylynn, Kevin, Jazlynn, Jeneah, Isaiah, Jenelle, Axiah and Keanu; great grandchildren Micah and Mia.  

He is preceeded in death by his parents, Crispin and Juana Elias, brothers Camillo and Federico Elias, sister Marciana Padilla and son Dominador Elias, Jr., and like them he will be greatly missed, and memories of them will be cherished.  

Visitation and Rosary in his honor will be held at Mission Mortuary, 450 Camino El Estero, Monterey, CA

Thursday, February 28th at 4pm - 8pm.  Friday, March 1st at 4pm - 8pm

All are invited to come and pay their respects to him and the family.  

Mass of Christian burial will be at Madonna Del Sasso, 320 East Laurel Drive, Salinas, CA

Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 at 11:00 am

Final place of resting will be Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas, CA

Saturday, March 2nd at 12:00pm.  All are welcome to attend.
