Obituary of Jack A. Wulfmeyer

Jack Wulfmeyer, 90 of Carmel, California passed away at home, December 20,2018. Born in St. Louis, Missouri he graduated from Eureka high school at age 16, Washington University with an electrical engineering degree at 18, and an MBA from UC Berkeley. He designed electrical components for the military, taught electrical applications at Wright Patterson Air Force base, was vice president of Bussman Manufacturing and established G&R Sales. He was a life member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

He is predeceased by his parents George and Clara Wulfmeyer, brother Jimmy, grandson Ethan and granddaughter Jane. Jack was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Sue Wulfmeyer, his sons Gary (Sara), Bruce, daughters, Cindy Mansfield and Melinda Boatwright(Scott),grandson Adam, granddaughter Brandie (Frank)Succardi and stepdaughters Jill (Jim) Jacobs, Holly (Chris) Jones, step grandsons Spencer and Parker Jones and great granddaughter Kayla Lea Wulfmeyer.

Jack dedicated his life to serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, was area director of the Jesus Film Project, was a member of the Carmel Rotary club and gave countless volunteer hours in his church and community. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed traveling the world with his wife Sue.

A Celebration of Life will be held February 9th at Calvary Chapel Monterey Bay, 3100 Monterey-Salinas highway at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jesus Film Project, Ruth’s Shawl Ministries, Hospice of the Central Coast, or charity of your choice.
