Jeremy P. Krabbe
July 9, 1969 – November 11, 2018
Resident of Watsonville, CA
Jeremy Krabbe died as he lived … in service to others. Jeremy passed away on Sunday, November 11, as he was attempting to help others involved in a traffic accident. Jeremy was a retired veteran and proudly served in the U.S. Army and California Army National Guard. During his 26-year military career, Jeremy served two separate tours of duty; one in Iraq, and one in Afghanistan. Between the two tours of duty, Jeremy worked as a Military Language Instructor at DLI (Defense Language Institute) in Monterey, CA. Jeremy was a very compassionate and caring individual, who was loyal to his country, his family, and his friends.
Above all else, Jeremy cherished his family. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He met the love of his life, Seoyoung Kang, while at DLI. They were married in 1999 in South Korea, then returned to California central coast to set up there home. They were blessed with three amazing children: John (11), Joseph (9), and James (4).
Jeremy will be forever remembered by his beloved wife, Seoyoung, and their precious children, John, Joseph, and James; by his brother and sisters, Jacqui (John) Palcic, Jill Perkins, Jeff Krabbe, and JoAnne (Marci) Krabbe; by his parents-in-law, Boksoo (Mansoon Han) Kang; sister-in-law, Hyeyoung (Jihyoung Woo) Kang; his nieces and nephews; and his many dear friends. Jeremy was predeceased by both of his parents, John and Joan Krabbe; his nephew, David Palcic; and his sister-in-law, Miyoung Kang.
Services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, at Mission Memorial Park and Seaside Funeral Home, 1951 Ord Grove Avenue, Seaside, CA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, with a memorial at 12:00 pm, followed by the graveside service at 1:00 pm.
