Obituary of Rose H. Cunningham

ROSE H. (RUSSO) CUNNINGHAM April 13, 1912 ? August 9, 2010 Rose was born in San Francisco, California to Francisco and Maria Henares. Preceding her in death was her husband John Russo (1966,) and Edward Cunningham (1995.) Rose worked for Del Monte Packing Corp. in Monterey for over 25 years as a supervisor during the sardine hey-day. In the early 1960?s rose was selected to train and hire employees for the Puerto Rico Del Monte Packing facility. Rose enjoyed life and loved her trips to Reno and playing cards with her friends. She is survived by her son Anthony (Rosemary) Russo and daughter Joanne (Horace) Battaglia, grandchildren Rosemary (Robert) Calvert, John Russo, Christina Grimshaw, Paula (Bill) Burkleo, Tom (Linda) Cutino, Diane (Fred) Simkins, and Paul Ann (Matt) Ynez. Fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, 146 8th St., Pacific Grove on Tuesday, August 17th, 2010 at 10 AM.
