Obituary of Rose Geraldine DiMaggio

PALM SPRINGS, CA - Rose DiMaggio, 88, died of natural causes on August 4, 2014 at Worthington Terrace. She was born July 22, 1926. Rose was born in Monterey on Pearl Street as Rose Giammanco. She worked in the fishing industry. She also loved to play cards. She was married to Michael Bruno who passed January 10, 1965 and Mario DiMaggio who passed April 6, 2006. She is survived by her children, Mary Violante (Michael) of Desert Hot Springs, CA; Gerry Warren (Lee), Sacramento, CA; Michelle Brent (Bill), Newington, CN and Michael Bruno, Monterey, CA; and her stepson, Anthony (Tina) DiMaggio, Tucson, AZ; along with nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
