Obituary of Sandy Aliotti

Pebble Beach, CA - Sandy Aliotti passed away May 4, 2014 one day shy of her 68th birthday. She was born May 5, 1946 in San Nicola, L'Arena, Sicily where she lived for the first 19 years of her life before immigrating to the Unites States in 1966. Sandy was a passionate, loving and caring mother, wife and grandmother. She always put her husband and children first. Sandy met her husband Paul through his sister while Sandy was working at Del Mar French Laundry. They fell in love instantly, got engaged and married within a year. They have been happily married for the past 39 and a half years. On her birthday in 1977, she & Paul opened the Victorian Corner Restaurant in Pacific Grove with the will to create a strong family business. Thirty seven years later it is the longest running restaurant in PG, now run by their son Domenic and his wife Mary. Sandy was very active in her Catholic community. She was also a die-hard San Francisco 49ers and Giants fan. She was very fun loving and always had a huge smile on her face. She loved to cook and take care of her garden. She also enjoyed reading Danielle Steele novels. Sandy is survived by her husband Paul; sister Anna (Nick); children Domenic (Mary), Pauley, and Maria; grandchildren Domenic, Juliana, and Nicholas. Visitation will be held Thursday May 8, 2014 between 6-7pm. Rosary begins at 7 PM at Mission Mortuary in Monterey. Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 9, 2014 at 9:30am at San Carlos Cathedral. The family suggests in lieu of flowers any memorial contributions be sent to the American Heart Association.
