Obituary of Josephine Seeno

Josephine Seeno passed away on October 3, 2013 with her loving family by her side. She was preceded in death by her father Gino Zammiti, her mother Jennie Zammiti, and her loving husband of 49 years Salvatore Dickie Seeno. Josephine worked in the canneries on Cannery Row in Monterey packing sardines at the cannery during the 50s and early 60s. When the Canneries closed Josephine stayed at home raising her 3 children. She loved to spend time with her friends and family and in being an avid 49'er fan she never missed a game when it was televised in our area. Even when it wasn't she always made sure we would find out the score. Her favorite daytime soap was The Young and Restless and her most favorite evening show was Law and Order SVU. She is survived by her three children Anthony Seeno of Seaside, Salvatore Seeno (Susan) of Castroville, and Josephine Hall (Sonnie) of Marina. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren Joseph, Christopher, Jennifer, Kevin and Nicholas. Her two sisters Rosemary Klinger (Kenny) of Seaside, Annie Sory of Modesto and numerous nieces and nephews along with her close lifetime friends and confidants Peter and Karen Wissmier of Carmel and Rosa Giamanco of Monterey. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
