Obituary of Sandra Suzanne Faass

Sandra Faass of Monterey, CA passes away peacefully Sun., Sept. 26th after a brief illness. She was born in 1934 in Grangeville, Idaho and is survived by her 4 children; Carralee, Anthony, Michael and Patty. Sandi has 5 beautiful grandchildren; Marc 26, Emily 22 of Saratoga, Annah 15 , Sam 13, Jack, 11 of Boston, MA. Sandi grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and graduated from Punahou High School. She made many lasting friends and memories in Hawaii and always considered it her true home. She went on to graduate from Skidmore College with a degree in business and minor in art. After graduating she lived in NYC and worked as a buyer for Macys. After meeting her husband, Larry, an Air Force officer, they traveled the US with their family. During this time she enjoyed volunteer work as president of the Officers Wives Club. They eventually retired in Monterey. While in Monterey she was buyer and VP of Holmans?s Dept. Store. She was also busy as a volunteer for Soroptomis International and Childrens Home Society, a supporter of the MB Aquarium and ASPCA, and loved to help out at the AT&T and Laguna Seca Racetrack events all while raising her family. Her hobbies were arts, reading and service to others. Sandi adored and was adored by her husband Larry of 47 years, missed him every day. We know she is happy to be reunited with him at last.
