On Feb. 23, 2020 Scott Gile unexpectedly passed away. To all who knew and loved him, he was a unashamed brash kinda guy. More than that, he was a deeply loyal and loving friend to many. Above all else, Scott was a devoted and loving father to his daughter Laurie, whom he LOVED. She brought more joy and love to his life than he ever imagined he could ever have. Scott graduated from Seaside High and lived and worked in the Monterey area his entire life. Scott was a hard working man with lots of dreams and ambition and was working hard to obtain those goals so that he could secure a strong future for himself and his daughter.
Scott is survived by his father and mother Gerry and Gelina Gile, his daughter Laurie, his brothers Jeremy (Jessica), Jason, Jacob (Patty), Dmitri, and James (Shawna), his grandmother Emma Aguilar, and was proceeded in death by his mother Laurie Fonda Gile. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins, all of which are too numerous to name.
Services will be held at Mission Mortuary and Memorial Park, 1915 Ord Grove, Seaside. A viewing will begin at 9am with a Service to start at 10am, and burial to follow. Immediately after, a reception will be held at the American Legion in Marina, 694 Legion Way.
